A stack you won't have to rebuild.

Startup tech stacks usually get pieced together tool by tool, then rebuilt when the board asks for more. Ours starts with our picks for every tool, formal partnerships behind the setup and the metrics your board will ask for built in from day one. More than 70 venture firms refer their companies to us, and the stack stays yours from pre-seed to Series B without a replatform.

All Systems Go is our free, public guide to the back-office stack. For each function, from accounting to banking to payroll, it names the one tool we'd use and why. The picks come from running the back office for more than 500 startups, so you're choosing tools that have already held up at companies a stage or two ahead of you.

Leave the implementation, the connections and the upkeep to us, including your chart of accounts and month-end close workflow. Our formal partnerships with Ramp, Mercury, Rippling, Rillet and more mean earlier access to what they're building and better support when something needs fixing.

Your tools are set up around the metrics we've seen venture boards ask for since 2013. That way, when you're ready for a board pack and KPI dashboard, they come straight out of your stack, not a spreadsheet you redo every quarter.

See it in practice.

“At the beginning of a startup and for a very long time, if there's a lot of work but not enough to hire a full-time finance person, it usually falls on the CEO to do that work. By using a fractional finance service, specifically airCFO, I was able to free a lot of mental space to go focus on growing the team and product.”

We support almost all of the common back-office systems across general ledger, banking, revenue and expense management, payroll and benefits and cap table management, including QuickBooks Online, Rillet, Campfire, Mercury, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Gusto, Rippling, Carta and others. We design and implement the stack, and it belongs to you.

That's fine. All Systems Go is what we'd pick for each function, but we aren't limited to those tools. Our pricing and process are built around them, so it's worth a quick conversation about your current stack.

Setup is a one-time onboarding engagement. Once you're up and running, keeping your stack maintained is part of your monthly service. Heavier implementations, like an HRIS or PEO, are scoped separately.

‍

Yes. Migration is part of onboarding. Bigger conversions, like moving from cash to accrual, are billed hourly, separately from your monthly fee.

‍

Your data lives in the platforms themselves, like QuickBooks Online, which carry their own SOC 2 Type 2 certifications. On top of that, we use encrypted devices and access controls, multi-factor authentication, continuous security monitoring and background-checked staff.

‍

They stay with you. Every account is in your name and on your contracts, so if you move on or bring finance in-house, your stack keeps working.

‍

Sending a report is table stakes. Building systems around the questions a board has not asked yet is not.

Partner with us to simplify your back-office and focus on what matters most: growing your business.
